I built this app a while back just for fun, but is probably the last example of me coding raw Sass/CSS & React without using Tailwind or other libs/AI to help me out. There’s a lot I’d improve about it, but I enjoyed making it and do hope to conclude the "what's next" portion at some point in the future.
The basic idea is that for some time, the band New Order and the principal designer for Manchester-based Factory Records used to encode album information using a sort of color-coded visual cypher. The key was included on a (now) hard to find version of their album Power, Corruption & Lies. For those of us without the means, hopefully this tool will do :)
